Deli Worm

Location:  Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou, CHINA)
Business Venture Description: Fishmeal is widely used as dietary protein for animals. Overfishing has caused a global environmental problem. Scientists have concluded that the housefly worm is the ideal substitute for fishmeal. Deli Worm will be the first mover in China to mass-produce live worms by high-yield automated systems and directly sell to the animal farms. Our breakthrough technology enables us to produce 100 tons per day per plant, while controlling bacterial contamination experienced in lower-yield processes.
